Combiz Abdolrahimi

Combiz is a Texan first and foremost, he is a national security lawyer, a global emerging technology and innovation thought leader at Deloitte, a regulatory and policy expert, and until recently, he served as Senior Policy Advisor at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. He has developed policies and driven regulatory reforms in several areas including emerging technologies, blockchain and AI, RPA, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, digital identity, privacy and big data. He helps run the Federal Identity Forum – which is the largest conference run by the federal government that drives public-private discussions on identity topics critical to the future of federal, state and local governments.

Combiz has served extensively in government since he was 19 years old, and has worked on national security, policy, technology, financial, regulatory and legal matters. He has worked in the U.S. Senate, White House, and State Department, receiving commendations from Republican and Democratic Administrations. Born in Texas, Combiz’s first job was working the cash register for his family’s small business—at the age of 12. He is a graduate of UCLA; AUB; and Georgetown Law, receiving his B.A., J.D. and LL.M. Combiz speaks several languages critical to U.S. interests and aspires to someday serve as an Ambassador.
